In the Bible But not in the Quran (46): Was King David a Sinful Traitor-b?
Was King David guilty, aggressor, sinful and traitor in the Bible?
Had King David committed adultery in the Bible?
Did King David try to conceal his crime in the Bible?
Did King David command to kill one of his soldiers to hide his crime in the Bible?
Yes, He was (and did) all of that!
—————
In 2 Samuel 11:5-15, the Bible declares that the woman which King David committed adultery with her became pregnant.
David commanded to bring Uriah the Hittite (the husband of that woman) from the war and ordered him to go home (to sleep with his wife) in order to make her pregnancy as if it was lawfully from her husband! The Noble Uriah refused to go home. Uriah said to David, “The ark and Israel and Judah are staying in tents, and my master Joab and my lord’s men are camped in the open fields. How could I go to my house to eat and drink and lie with my wife? As surely as you live, I will not do such a thing!” Then David commanded his master Joab: “Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die”
This story illustrates that Uriah was a Noble man while King David was a sinful traitor evil wicked man!

2 Samuel 11:5-15 (New International Version)
5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.”
6 So David sent this word to Joab: “Send me Uriah the Hittite.” And Joab sent him to David.
7 When Uriah came to him, David asked him how Joab was, how the soldiers were and how the war was going.
8 Then David said to Uriah, “Go down to your house and wash your feet.” So Uriah left the palace, and a gift from the king was sent after him. 9 But Uriah slept at the entrance to the palace with all his master’s servants and did not go down to his house.
10 When David was told, “Uriah did not go home,” he asked him, “Haven’t you just come from a distance? Why didn’t you go home?”
11 Uriah said to David, “The ark and Israel and Judah are staying in tents, and my master Joab and my lord’s men are camped in the open fields. How could I go to my house to eat and drink and lie with my wife? As surely as you live, I will not do such a thing!”
12 Then David said to him, “Stay here one more day, and tomorrow I will send you back.” So Uriah remained in Jerusalem that day and the next. 13 At David’s invitation, he ate and drank with him, and David made him drunk. But in the evening Uriah went out to sleep on his mat among his master’s servants; he did not go home.
14 In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it with Uriah. 15 In it he wrote, “Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die.”

Now let us see what Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary on the Bible says about this story?
David’s adultery
Observe the occasions of David’s sin; what led to it. 1. Neglect of his business. He tarried at Jerusalem. When we are out of the way of our duty, we are in temptation. 2. Love of ease: idleness gives great advantage to the tempter. 3. A wandering eye. He had not, like Job, made a covenant with his eyes, or, at this time, he had forgotten it. And observe the steps of the sin. See how the way of sin is down-hill; when men begin to do evil, they cannot soon stop. Observe the aggravations of the sin. How could David rebuke or punish that in others, of which he was conscious that he himself was guilty? (2Sa 11:6-13)
He tries to conceal his crime.
Giving way to sin hardens the heart, and provokes the departure of the Holy Spirit. Robbing a man of his reason, is worse than robbing him of his money; and drawing him into sin, is worse than drawing him into any wordly trouble whatever. (2Sa 11:14-27)
Uriah murdered
Adulteries often occasion murders, and single wickedness is sought to be covered by another. The beginnings of sin are much to be dreaded; for who knows where they will end? Can a real believer ever tread this path? Can such a person be indeed a child of God? Though grace be not lost in such an awful case, the assurance and consolation of it must be suspended. All David’s life, spirituality, and comfort in religion, we may be sure were lost. No man in such a case can have evidence to be satisfied that he is a believer. The higher a man’s confidence is, who has sunk in wickedness, the greater his presumption and hypocrisy.
Let not any one who resembles David in nothing but his transgressions bolster up his confidence with this example. Let him follow David in his humiliation, repentance, and his other eminent graces, before he thinks himself only a backslider, and not a hypocrite. Let no opposer of the truth say, these are the fruits of faith! No; they are the effects of corrupt nature. Let us all watch against the beginnings of self-indulgence, and keep at the utmost distance from all evil.
It is obvious that the Bible dishonors King David very much.
It follows that King David had committed seven sins:
1. Neglect of his business.
2. Love of ease:
3. Had a wandering eye
4. Committed Adultery
5. Hardens the heart, and provokes the departure of the Holy Spirit
6. Tried to conceal his crime by another crime
7. Command to kill one of his soldiers to hide his crime of adultery
Can a real believer ever tread this path? The Commentary asks,
Hence, King David was not a real believer!

Was King David guilty, aggressor, sinful and traitor in the Quran?
Had King David committed adultery in the Quran?
Did King David try to conceal his crime in the Quran?
Did King David command to kill one of his soldiers to hide his crime in the Quran?
No! Never ever
There is no such story in the Noble Quran.
This malicious story is not present in the Noble Quran, the book which forbids saying anything that could dishonor any prophet including King David.
This nasty and wicked story could be applicable for a lewd shamelessly vulgar burlesque street man not for a great prophet like King David.
King David is mentioned many times in the Noble Quran as for example:
In the verse 38:17, Allah, exalted is He says:
Bear O Muhammad with what they say in your rejection, and remember Our bondman David; He says: mention to them the event of Our slave David, the one of fortitude, the lord of might who had strength for our worship.
He was obedient, always engaged in the worship of Allah.
Lo! He was ever turning in repentance towards Allah,
Indeed he was a penitent [soul]; always returning to what pleases Allah.
The one which Allah blessed him like that would never ever have done anything malicious like that.
According to the Noble Quran, it is a very big unforgiving sin to say or to believe that King David or any other prophet had committed adultery.
Anyone does say or believe that King David or any other prophet had committed adultery or did one of the above seven mentioned David’ sins will dwell in the Eternal fire.
